(preemptive) 10k/one year/birthday Questions Meme

I wasn't really planning on doing this so soon, but I want to now. \o;

Cesare's birthday is on the 13th, he'll have been in Camp for a year the week after that, and he's just about to hit 10k.

And I have nothing really to do today. LET ME ESSAY AT YOU.

ASK A QUESTION it can be anything CFUD related, OOC, IC, First Impressions, Relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. i.e. My character's opinion of your character or maybe what you have been wondering about this behavior or that, or general thoughts on my characters or canons or whatever drabbles and pics, what have you, etc.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS :B

So how topped was Cesare by the Spains?

[identity profile] andallthefixins.livejournal.com 2011-09-09 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Thiiiiis is really a lot of personal bias here but a young Isabella of Castilla, because my headcanon is that she topped Spain so hard and motherhenned him a lot as well. Spain loev Isabella and would stalk her like crazy, but other than that, Spain just wants all the Spaniards in Camp. Except certain ones but I shouldn't mention them because l-lolspanishhistory :U

Do you have songs you associate with Cesare that you listen to while playing him?

Cesare and Laguna?
lagunarok: (wind in my hair)

[personal profile] lagunarok 2011-09-10 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Laguna thinks Cesare is a pretty cool guy. Kid. Actually I'm not sure how much of a "kid" Laguna considers him to be, but since he tends to act fairly mature most the time, but ehhh details. Laguna basically always defaults to liking people, and Cesare seems nice and friendly enough, and also he keeps asking Laguna thinks and generally wanting to hear him talk about him so Laguna definitely enjoys talking with him. |Db ....really it's hard to ever find much to say for Laguna because he just likes people so much it's just a question of whether he likes you like people in general or likes you more as in would (probably) remember your name (if he can even pronounce it) and would think to seek you out in particular to chat/hang out/do things with. It's probably safe to say Cesare falls into the latter.

So I HAVE BEEN KING OF DROPPED THREADS the past... several months, but how do you imagine the whole giving Laguna riding lessons thing went? XD

Horse riding lessons is totally a thing that ought to have been repeated, yes. |D

And for as much as Laguna is probably something of a failteacher, he actually DOES know his stuff when it comes to guns, and some of the dead Chinese guys asked lots of questions, so everyone probably got a pretty good verbal explanation of things in the end. And then there was lots of time for some (supervised) hands-on experience. Which is the sort of thing Laguna is MUCH better at, the actual doing rather than thinking and explaining. I'm guessing there's probably been more practice sessions/occasional lessons since, but given the... competitive nature of the relations between the Chinese dudes, these may have been at separate times rather than the whole big group at once again. XD

What are the top few characters you want to see in camp RIGHT NOW?

...hahaha oh boy. XD BASICALLY the premise of FF8 is that there's a bunch of these elite mercenaries called SeeDs, many of whom are young and basically trained from childhood to be such (such as most the main characters), and things happen and it turns out there's an evil sorceress causing trouble that they need to stop! And things just spiral on out from there as it turns out that many things aren't QUITE what they seem and there's more to the story than anyone was told at first, and it generally is a big overcomplicated mess of sorceresses and war and interconnected events across the timestream that actually manages to have some amazing continuity if you can manage to put all the pieces in order. Really there's no good way to explain without spoiling pretty much the entire story. XD

Laguna's role in particular is primarily that he keeps on showing up in these "dreams" the main characters keep on having, though he actually makes a first hand appearance himself later on.

I can't remember if camp still has chocobos (I know we had stables back when there was a FF7 cast...) but IF THERE ARE would Cesare want to learn to ride one?

Relationship/impressions/whatever for Boyue and Hanbei?

...man it feels like ages since I threw Boyue at him, huh. I need to fix that.
shigeharu: (why yes thank you i am awesome.)

woop, sorry, was out for a while.

Both of mine have enjoyed talking to Cesare. The time and cultural differences are interesting, and he seems interested in actual discourse and not just superficial "how's the weather" shit, and they're both inclined to appreciate that. Boyue doesn't really think that hard past that, though, because he's not terribly people-savvy. Hanbei, on the other hand, is very good at reading people and intentions, and while he hasn't really talked enough to Cesare yet that I'd say he has any kind of clear idea what the deal is, he definitely feels like there's...a lot under the surface. Which interests him and he would like to talk more! So he can figure out more.

Relationship for Rakushun, if anything's changed?
chewitover: (Silence is a true friend)

[personal profile] chewitover 2011-09-10 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Rakushun is used to pretty much everyone being better than him at stuff like that, so that is A-OK |D

Proobably the modern world - Japan, specifically! I dunno if you've read 12K or not, but occasionally people from Japan end up in the twelve kingdoms (including his friend Youko) so Rakushun had heard a bit about it before he ever came to camp. He'd like to see it for himself one day. Mostly he's content just hearing about other places, though.

...I can't think of any better questions so the same back!

Most of the effects don't bother him too much - he actually most dislikes when he gets stuck in human form, because he really doesn't like not having control over what should be a normal part of himself.

Where was Lucrezia during the fourth wall event? (this totally counts as a question, what)

Cesare's thoughts about the not-quite-end-of-the-world?
justwannahave: (Is that even physically possible?)

See icon.

Seriously though, she would be the clueless girl she was all those years ago. Plus the unfashionable rags and largely covered in ashes. With a thing for making friends with mice and small animals too. Yet she would be pretty sociable for someone who has spent the past few years of her life doing housework and not getting out much. The massive amounts of optimism and the ridiculous sunny outlook would go a long way in explaining most of it.

Cesare's favourite version of himself in fiction?
justwannahave: (You don't say)

[personal profile] justwannahave 2011-09-11 12:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure--I'm sure it looks better compared to the others.

Brianna, Machika, Finnick, Toboe with Julian/Alice/Mickey Mouse tied for fifth place. [Although it has to be said that in a place like Camp, Mickey Mouse is actually the most normal one on the list and the least likely to need cheering up.]

Cesare's top three favourite military strategists?
