Cesare just made 15k on DW and I haven't done this in a while.

OOC Juan is a whiny bitch sometimes and a brat sometimes and a good brother sometimes and also sometimes a peacock, so now whenever I see peacock things I think of you. :|b

Relationship Honestly, Cesare is trying. Yes, the card is what he thinks secretly, "oh GOD Juan is such a pain come ON," but it's not something he's going to act on and he's pretty offended that Camp implied it was. It's not even like he thinks that all the time, just that, you know, Juan is his brother and he gets under his skin sometimes. He doesn't even want to manipulate him, at least not like Juan is going off about. He just wants him to do him a solid and keep an eye on manga!Juan because do you really want all Juans ever to get stabbed? He doesn't see why this is a problem, especially when Juan gets to go back to Gandía and maybe bang María out of the deal. Just keep little!you safe, Juan. And don't get him addicted to anything. Both of those "unfortunately" mean Juan has to be sober.

But yeah, Juan is a pain, but it's a brotherly kind of pain, so he doesn't see what the issue is. It's not like he ACTUALLY wants to kill him, or even for him to go off somewhere to not bother him ever. Cesare does like Juan. He has fun with him. Juan likes the same things he does more or less, and he doesn't have a lot of friends here that do/in general. It's refreshing!

First Impressions First impressions of Juan were probably something like "why is that baby screaming so loud," but that's what happens when you're the older brother. :|

Psychology Ok, I've been sitting on this answer for a while but I don't actually know what to say here, so you'll have to ask something more specific if you have a question.

Thoughts/Whatever Cesare's talking about Rakushun because they got bedninjad/mistletoed the other night and to try to break the awkward after he was asking if Rakushun had ever met Juan, since he hangs out at the onsen and Rakushun lives like right there. He said he had not but that he'd like to meet him. I mention this just to prove that it is is not a trap, Cesare didn't push Juan at him or anything.

That said, he does bitch about Juan to Kaza, which idk I found funny. >_>

Opinion on Relationships Seriously, Juan needs better friends. Or at least safer friends. Not that Cesare thinks he will actually GET safer friends, but he does know that it would make his life a lot easier. It just would be nice to know that Juan had a positive influence in his life for once... Also he thinks Juan should get a girlfriend. He thinks it would make him less clingy. :|

WHAT IF I REVERSE FOR THEM ALL, WHAT THEN

OOC: There was really good spam musubi for like two bucks at the gaymercon street fair, I felt like I lost some great battle by willingly buying and enjoying it, but it was okay because delicious meatrice roll. Also seeing anything about Hawaii makes me want to visit. Not battle the cockroaches though. Also lies I am an owldog, you know this to be true.

Canon: Cesare! Cesare is still my favorite, I won't lie. Why the hell isn't this an anime yet? I mean the parent company has Attack on Titan out, surely they can spread the love this way too. Or at least publish the manga in English.

Hot or not: remove the pedostache as an adult, then YYY.

SHAUN MEMES
Relationship: Shaun doesn't wanna gooooo. He doesn't want to leave his student and what if he dies and something goes wrong and :<. Like what, a year, two years ago he'd be laughing about the idea of ever being fond of the Borgia family, but no. Now these days he wonders how he could've gotten through all the crap in canon and in camp without his dumb student. I mean, he knows that Cesare also CAUSED a lot of that dumb crap, but he wouldn't take any of it back, as terrible as some of it was. It was all needed for both of them to grow, and as much as Shaun worries and doesn't want to leave, he feels like Cesare is just a bit closer to becoming an actual adult, and he's proud of him and how he's matured.

Even if he is a little shit sometimes. He hopes to god that adult Cesare won't give him too much crap, or he'll smack a still-tiny warlord across the back of the head. Lil' brat.

First impressions: Gdi this little shit. DNW templar asshole.

Psych: IDK EITHER, ask away?

Thoughts: "Not that I mind, but what's got camp from yanking me home?" and a lot of furious sending of files and books and setting things in order. Also like. the roof caved in last week. so there's that too. Sleeping in the mess hall is an A++ idea.

Opinion on relationships: He's not too aware of like, all the people leaving, so he thinks that Cesare has okay friends, if not horrible brothers. Also when he sees Cesare crushing on people he thinks it's adorable.

Behavior: YEAH THIS ISN'T A QUESTION WHAT. ASK QUESTION?

JUAN MEMES
Relationship: So complicated. Cesare's advanced to legit brother status, and there's even been some equaling in his view of him re: younger/older brother. He's still not above him though. He painfully reminds him of Borgias!Cesare and sometimes Juan just wants to flop on him and be all needy until the "My bro is gone and I might never see him again 8'<" has passed. However he gets that Cesare shares the same no-touching general feeling, and doesn't. much. Some nights he still is really tempted to do the Juan equivalent of sitting outside Cesare's closed door and sing the song of his people.

He's also sorry not sorry about teasing Cesare when one of them is genderswitched. But, he'd legit think it was weird if it was taken seriously. Just a plain "No, what? no."

First impressions: Who is this person trying to claim that they're a Borgia? >E

Psych: COMPLICATED, ASK.

Thoughts: "Baww baww brother baww, why frands not around, why do I want to do things with female friends that don't involve us being naked WHEN DID THIS START?! ... I do look good in boobs, don't I? GOD OKAY I COULD SURE USE SOME- ohright promised that I wouldn't anymore :(. ... I wonder if my brother's around to annoy?" but, not in that order or speed.

FIRST IMPRESSION DO IT

Harley's pretty fun. Cesare's not faking the enjoying himself. She's weird and gives good reactions to things and is getting him ~explosives~ which he appreciates, even if it's only in small amounts. \o/ Cesare is generally the saner of the brothers but he still enjoys a good explosion, so this is excellent! Other than that, he's a little wary but also very curious. He knows she knows Daniel and Juan and he really wants deets about that. What they've both told her, what she thinks of them, etc. DEETS. :|

UH SHE DOESN'T HAVE MUCH OF ONE YET. It takes a little while for Harley to, like... bother to remember people... GENERAL IMPRESSIONS SO FAR are that he's a good kid? Well not good, but interesting. It's refreshing to be encouraged instead of told that hiding explosives in things is "bad" and "wrong" and "don't teach people about murdering, harley." She's having fun with their little arts and crafts lesson but she won't let him in on too many specifics. Not because of appropriate bonding activities, goodness no, just that she has very firm ideas about muscling in on other people's gimmicks.

Cesare's thoughts on Sion?

Sion is interesting in that Cesare can tell they have things in common but also knows he's not telling him any of the juicy parts. He doesn't trust him because he hasn't given him any footholds, so to speak--it's just a sheer wall and Cesare likes having little cracks to dig into. On the other hand he doesn't distrust him because, again, he sees no reason to. He is uncomfortably aware that he has told Sion more than Sion has told him, but he reasons that it is ok because he hasn't said anything particularly important anyway and, besides, someday this will all pay off and he'll get the information that he's so pinged by.

You know stonewalling peoples' attempts to get information out of him is so second-nature to Sion at this point I'm not sure he even realizes the extent to which he DOES it.

With that said he does find Cesare interesting, though he definitely gets the impression there's more to him than meets the idea. It's probably that more than anything that tends to make Sion slow to share information, but it's less out of concern about giving away secrets and more that, well, he's stubborn and a sore loser and therefore doesn't like to give things away too easily. >_>

Also because I'm curious, even though I've dropped him now, what did Cesare think of Laguna by the time he left camp?

Cesare liked Laguna. He reminded him a little of the kinds of people he dealt with a lot back home--well, not the fancy-Cardinal-type people. He respected his experience and talent and basically thought he was a good soldier, which is a compliment from him because he's seen both good and bad ones. Cesare would have liked to have learned more from him! He thought he was potentially very useful.

Does Sion want to go home?

Essentially, yes. While he's always liked being able to spend so much time with Ryner, which is all the more so now with all the effort Ryner's made to get through to him and get him to open up a bit, Sion will pretty much always have at least SOME sense of duty and obligation to his country/world and all the people he knows back there. So even if leaving camp meant leaving Ryner behind, though it would definitely hurt, Sion would do it. Especially since Sion really doesn't have any reason other than Ryner to want to be in camp. Sure, there's people he knows and maybe even likes, but he's always avoided getting CLOSE to anyone so he wouldn't be as torn up on that point. ~~plus Tiir's in camp but that's a whole other essay~~

But he does definitely want to go home and get back to finishing what he started and hopefully actually stop the world from ending even if it costs his life, because if he doesn't do it who will? Really, he'd never be able to live with himself if he just wholesale abandoned his duties and it does nag at him that being in camp means not being at home doing things. Which actually is part of why he spends so much time researching things with Ryner, is that he figures AT THE VERY LEAST he can make use of his time trying to learn things that might help when he eventually does get back to Roland....

Does/would Cesare have any interest in the magic of Sion's world, or even in general?

CESARE'S IMPRESSIONS OR THOUGHTS ON JIU WU OR RYUUSEI OR WHOEVER 8D

I CAN ONLY THINK OF A DECENT AMOUNT OF STUFF TO SAY FOR JIU WU SO

There is part of Cesare that likes Jiu Wu. He's intelligent, a good sport, obviously has good taste... Really, if it wasn't for the whole Natsumi thing he'd get along with him very well. As it is, he's just jealous enough to not really like him. It's not so much that he doesn't realize it's stupid and petty (and extra stupid because it was supposed to be a game, but now he's actually living with her and apparently sleeping in the same bed as her frequently, come on) and he'll act like he's not bothered by him. Focus on the things he does like. Keep that internal judging voice around so it can tell him he's being childish.

They should do stupid boy things together sometime, it will give him something else to focus on. Honestly, Cesare doesn't like that he's bothered by this. He's supposed to be better than that! He's not supposed to get bothered by things that he knew were just for show and that, actually, he helped to orchestrate! He feels pretty stupid about it. =_=

OH HO HO.

Jiu Wu likes Cesare! He's a funny guy and seemed plenty willing to get in on their shenanigans, plus he's smart and he gets the feeling they have a few similarities. Natsumi told/warned him that Cesare isn't the most trusting of people and doesn't tend to let them get close, but he respects that and more than happy to continue on how they are for now and see where that takes them in the future. She also told him about the priest/future cardinal thing which he thinks is really neat! And may ask about at some point because he knows very little about how that works and Cesare doesn't ping him as the type XD; LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING.

HE WOULD ACTUALLY FEEL REALLY BAD if he knew Cesare was interested in Natsumi. He likes her and he likes cuddling with her (in his defense he did try to stay in his own bed to start with but who are they to turn down cuddles), but he's not interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with her; the "I will make you my queen" deal is still just sort of a running joke with him and he's pretty sure she knows it. He adores Natsumi and he's comfortable with her, but he thinks of her more like family than anything. His main thing is that he usually doesn't realize when there's a problem when it comes to interpersonal relationships, because most of the people he knows tend to think of him as a harmless playful puppy type rather than a romantic rival (until Tomoki got a little grumpy at him getting a wee bit too close to Aya!Rei). He would probably back off and maybe give a little nudge or two from either direction if he knew Cesare was interested in something more than just friendship with her. Part of the reason he moved in with her was so she wouldn't have to be alone all the time.

We can do more stupid boy things 8D And if it really bugs him, Cesare is more than welcome to ask Jiu Wu about things. He's very unlikely to lie about it. FEEL FREE TO HIT ME UP or I will hit you up when things settle down (I'm starting my moving process tonight) and we can make magic happen.

Jiu Wu doesn't have to feel bad, really. Cesare's not a very nice person when it comes down to it but he at least understands that this is facepalm worthy. Also, I think this means that Jiu Wu won the game, even though Cesare isn't Tsukasa, so... congrats?

I always enjoy threads that touch on Cesare's role (present or future) in the Church because he's got Issues and it's fun. :D (Also because I've had to read so much about history and blahblahblah that I like being able to actually use it in his threads.) Jiu Wu is free to ask him about that--Cesare talks about it more freely, at least in a superficial way, than he used to because, really, it's not like most people in Camp actually care. So my dream thread would be something that incorporates that, probably with some kind of activity or Camp-enforced-bonding tossed in, just to get the ball rolling.

If you remember where the thread was where Natsumi told Jiu Wu about Cesare I'd like to see it. :D

Pimp me your canon!

Relationship! Tell me things! All of the things.

Cesare likes Natsumi. Likes-likes. Is-kind-of-jealous-about-Jiu-Wu-living-with-her-now-likes. But it's cool, he can deal with it. He's a big boy and he's totally fine with being friends. He appreciates and values her friendship and likes having her as someone he can talk to and run ideas by. Like I said before, what Cesare really likes about Natsumi is that she always tried to understand where he's coming from. He knows it's hard for him to see eye to eye with people but he never got the sense that she was judging him (more than was warranted, at least) or that she was trying to forcibly change his mind on things. She respects him, and that's a really big deal for Cesare--and he respects her in return.

Cesare really does hope they'll be able to meet up again after Camp and while he knows it's pretty much all on her to find him, he has tried to make it fairly easy to do so. General dates, general locations, giving her that box from Angelo to show him in case he doesn't remember her. He hopes he will but suspects he won't, so the box was a way to prove to himself that he needs to pay attention when she shows up. It's not the sort of thing that anyone outside of his inner circle would know was significant to him, so it should startle him out of blowing right by her. This is also why he wants her to pick up Spanish! At least enough that she can tell him who she is and that she's there to meet him. Again, Spanish is a signifier of intimacy for him. It's another little thing that will raise a red flag that there's actually something to her crazy story of space/time travel. Honestly, even if she doesn't help him out with making his own little nation-state, he really wants her to visit and is crossing his fingers that future him won't mess it up. ><
